Are you going to be implementing medals in your new games?

selfdefiant responds:

I will.

The game is good, but that final boss fight is just too hard for a one-shot attempt. If you die, you should restart from the boss.

blit-blat responds:

Sounds to me like somebody needs to git gud! ;)

All jokes aside, you're probably right. Given how hard it is to actually get to the boss (as I detailed below in @qwerty741's review) the game probably does need a few tweaks - not least of all a continue system. I wasn't gonna update the game as it's for Pixel Day, but I suppose a few tweaks wouldn't hurt... watch this space for updates!

EDIT: I've updated the game to include a continue system (amongst other things), should be a bit easier now!

Really clean aesthetic, good challenge and lots of replayability - I enjoyed this.

DuskyLW responds:

Thank you for playing!!

Completely disagree with all of the negative reviews here - this is a puzzle game worth taking the time over and breaking down every step of the process. The manual alone contains enough information to work out what to do, it just requires patience and problem solving to work out what it is trying to tell you, and then the ability to think like a robot and break the problem down into microscopic steps in order to write the program.

crow-seeds responds:

Omg glad you liked the game ^-^

Interestingly, there are medals in this game, just not listed.

Gimmick responds:

I had to remove them because they were broken and I lost the source files.

Those new levels from 107 are REALLY tough. It will take hours to beat them, but the time will flow quickly in tranquility.

EDIT: Done it. Took about 30 hours, some of them require extraordinary amounts of skill and luck. Thanks for the experience, I genuinely enjoyed it.

sublevelgames responds:

Thank you so much! Glad that you enjoyed the game.

Perfect chill vibe. I was feeling a bit worried today, and this really helped me zone out and feel calm.

MrNannings responds:

Glad you had fun!

There's a really beautiful message in this game, a heartwarming experience.

immadametal responds:

You know what they say, "True beauty is in the eye of infinite beholding."

There's a very steep learning curve to this game, but once you get going, it is challenging and somewhat enjoyable. Everything works well, and the character models are very well designed.

VicBiss responds:

Very cool to see that someone actually beat it! We appreciate you putting the time in. The steep learning curve is one of the hardest things to iron out in game design. (For me, anyways) When testing the game myself, obviously I get better at it than someone playing it for the first time, so it's hard to judge the learning curve. In the end, the reason I'm making games right now is for myself, so I am a little stubborn about leaving it difficult enough that it is still fun for me when testing it, and replaying it. I'm trying to be better about this for future projects, especially ones I would want to release commercially, but this was a smaller game, and I didn't really put in the time needed for proper testing and balancing. Thanks again for playing! As of now you are the only person in the world to beat it besides me (:<

This game is good for multiple people to play together. I would increase the contrast on the level select screen as it is a little bit hard to read the white font.

MassiveMarioLuigi700 responds:

Thank you so much! I definitely took note of a few things after release and a possible update will resolve some issues hopefully. 🙏 Thanks for playing!

Hello World! Hope you're having a good day. Feel free to message me if you want anything.
